Salt & Sovereignty
Delete your account
You can delete your Salt & Sovereignty account, and everything kept with it, at any time.
In the app
- Open Salt & Sovereignty on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone and sign in.
- Go to More → Account → Delete account.
- If you like, download a backup first. Then confirm, and your account is deleted straight away.
Without the app
Email ashley.p@saltandsovereignty.com from the address you signed up with (or tell us that address, and whether you used Google or Apple to sign in) and ask for your account to be deleted. We'll confirm and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Deleting some of your data, but keeping your account
You can delete any altar, grimoire page or book, ritual plan, journal entry, Living Library note, apothecary working or picture on its own, in the app or on the website. Each is removed from your account and stops syncing straight away. To have something else removed (for example, a community submission or your profile name), email ashley.p@saltandsovereignty.com and say what you'd like deleted; we'll do it within 30 days.
What's deleted with your account
- Your account and sign-in details.
- Your settings, altars, grimoire, rituals, journal, Living Library notes, apothecary, and the pictures you added.
- Your private drafts and any community submissions that weren't published.
What's kept
Pages and Field Notes already published in the Community Grimoire stay, but only in anonymized form, with your name and account removed (see the Submission Terms). Nothing else is kept. Guest data that never left your device is removed when you delete the app or clear your browser.
